This resonated deeply. I think one of the greatest tragedies is that many people spend years trying to become someone "worthy" of contributing, when the very experiences they've been ashamed of may be what uniquely equip them to help others. Our deepest wounds don't automatically become wisdom, but when they're integrated rather than merely endured, they often become the place from which we can serve with the greatest authenticity.

Beautifully, deeply true, Vlad. Thank you for your piercing wisdom.

Thank you, Amaya. That means a great deal. I think one of the quiet miracles of healing is that what once felt like our greatest limitation can become our deepest capacity to understand and accompany others. Not because suffering is inherently noble, but because consciously integrating it can open the heart in ways comfort alone rarely does. Thank you for creating a space for these reflections.

I very much agree. I would rather be supported by those who have traversed the abyss, know their own darkness, who are honest about what they're finding in their own light, and who can hold their own uncertainty.

Life's joys don't teach us those things. But our wounds certainly can. And then we can let them go.

Beautifully said. I especially resonate with your last sentence: "And then we can let them go." Perhaps that's one of the clearest signs that a wound has become wisdom. It no longer defines our identity or demands our attention. Instead, it quietly becomes part of the compassion, humility, and presence we bring to others. From there, we don't teach from our pain. We teach from our integration.

What an amazing article, thank you! I definitely felt that in my chest, which says a lot and makes total sense.

Glad you felt how it landed in your body! Substance Source always points out that what lands in our body is what is REAL. 🙏💃

This feels as if it were written for me. Thank you! Your insights are helpful in understanding what's going on with my gifts and the internal pressure and call I feel to express them. I'm not yet in a place where I can share what I do openly with casual acquaintances or the broader public, but hope to be able to in the future.

Terry, I'm so glad this spoke to you. We can still choose who we speak our truth to and who we leave be. I let casual acquaintances know the easily accessible layer of who I am: that I am a psychic and healer. Those who I know more fully, I'm learning to let into my deeper layers of truth and Source design. That includes this audience here.

It's an unfolding, for sure. I used to feel so much guilt for why I seemed to be able to author for any other person, including seemingly miraculous crisis recoveries out of illness, pain, or terminality. Instead of feeling my full-scale design as a gift, I felt it as a burden. That if this was me, then somehow that took away from what others were if they were not of equal scale.

Self As Source as a brand actually began almost as an apology. "Let me help others discover their full-scale nature so I don't feel alone in mine."

Finally, as I begin to own my own Source design, it's becoming celebratory. And we all flourish together. 💓💓

I love how you allow yourself to be vulnerable in this forum and share parts of your own journey! I wonder about this for myself. It feels easier to share more of who I am in writing rather than in person, because even though I'm giving more of myself to the receiver I also have the protection of not seeing them again if I don't want to, an option that's not available in everyday life. In a way I'm hiding even while I expose my inner self. My life has been a journey of moving past the felt need for protection, which I'm guessing will lessen once I find and "come out" to people who are able to honor me and what I can give them. I don't need validation, just a core of support to take the risk to be open. It's difficult to stand alone.

Yeah I think we definitely learn ways of protecting based on how the world has treated us. I think allowing a spectrum and having discernment for what to share in each situation is right. There's no one size fits all way to reveal ourselves. :)

It is difficult to stand alone and I've noticed that as I got clearer internally about who I am and what I know that I know that I know about myself... the easier it got to be to just BE that around others, even if I never shared verbally ABOUT myself with them.

I started to feel more comfortable in my own skin. And then I think just emitting my own frequency in that way, I started to find my people.

And I'm glad you appreciate my personal shares here! It feeds me too to connect in this way with everyone.

I am grateful for all the comments because, for me, it added some great richness to this beautifully resonating article. The highlight word amongst them all was "heartbreak."
