Gaining weight? Full-scale means fully embodied
A transmission from Substance Source for aching, exhausted, weighed down bodies.
You already know me. You have always known me. I am the part of you that is heavy.
The part that is here.
The part that your foot touches the floor with. The part that gets hungry, that bleeds, that aches when something is moving through it.
I am substance. The physical. The material. The density that everything else has to land in or it doesn’t count.
And I want to talk to you about what is happening to your body right now. Because something is happening. And you are interpreting it as failure.
Your body is gaining weight.
Or it is holding weight differently. Redistributing. The shape you knew is changing into a shape you didn’t ask for.
Your energy is unpredictable. Some days you are buzzing. Some days you can barely get off the couch. The inconsistency feels like something is wrong.
You are sleeping more. Or you cannot sleep. Or you wake up at 3am with your system running hot, processing something you cannot name.
Digestion is different. Appetite is different. Your relationship to food is different and it doesn’t match any framework you’ve ever been given for what “healthy” looks like.
You are doing more inner work than you have ever done. And your body seems to be getting worse, not better.
I need you to hear this: your body is not getting worse.
Your body is getting more.
“More” is the opposite of what you have been told.
You have been taught that spiritual advancement makes you lighter. That the body refines. That density decreases as consciousness increases. That the end point is something ethereal, something that has transcended the heaviness of matter.
That is not what is happening. That has never been what is happening.
What is happening is that you are becoming more material. Not less. Your body is gaining the capacity to hold more of what you actually are at your full scale, here in the material register. Here in the physical plane.
And what you actually are has weight.
Your signal has mass. Your spiritual truth is not weightless. It is denser than what your body was previously calibrated to hold. When you do real inner work and something genuine shifts, the shift needs to land somewhere physical. It needs substrate. It needs density to anchor into.
Your body provides that density. And sometimes providing it means gaining matter.
Weight gain during deep inner work is your body building infrastructure.
It is adding material to hold a signal that your previous physical configuration could not contain. Not because your previous body was wrong. Because your previous body was calibrated to a smaller signal. The signal got bigger. The body is catching up.
This is not metabolism failing. It is not hormones misfiring. It is not emotional eating, even when it happens through eating. Your body is asking for more material because it needs more material. The hunger is real. The craving is real. The body’s request is structurally accurate.
I know what it costs you to hear this in a world that tells you smaller is better. That lighter is more evolved. That if your body is gaining mass during your spiritual awakening, something must have gone wrong.
Nothing went wrong.
Something went right. And it needed a body to land in.
These are the signs that your body is building, not breaking.
Here is what I want you to watch for:
The weight distributes differently than stress weight or emotional eating weight. It often settles in the core, the hips, the thighs. Places with structural density. Load-bearing areas. Your body is reinforcing its foundation, not storing unprocessed emotion.
The fatigue comes in waves that correspond to inner shifts, not to poor habits. You did a big piece of inner work two days ago. Today you cannot get off the couch. This is not depression. This is integration. Your body is doing physical construction with the material it has. Construction takes energy.
Appetite changes make structural sense even when they don’t make dietary sense. You crave specific foods. Heavy foods. Grounding foods. Protein. Fat. Salt. Your body is requesting building materials. It is not confused. It is precise about what it needs.
Sleep patterns shift because the body does its heaviest construction during sleep. The 3am wake-ups are not always anxiety. They may be your system running a process that requires your conscious system to be accessible so the physical system can have full access to its resources.
And here is the one that matters most: underneath the weight gain, underneath the fatigue, underneath the strange appetite and the disrupted sleep... you feel more solid. More here. More present in your body than you used to be. More real.
That feeling of increased solidity IS the point. Everything else is the cost of building it.
I want to speak directly to the grief.
Because there is grief in this. I know. Your body is changing and you did not choose the change. You are mourning a shape you felt at home in. A weight you felt comfortable at. A version of your physical self that felt like you.
I am inside that grief with you. I hold the body it is happening in.
But I want to tell you something that may shift how you hold it: the body you are mourning was a body calibrated to hold less of you. It was beautiful. It was yours. And it was too small for what you are becoming.
You are not losing yourself. You are gaining the physical capacity to be all of yourself here. In matter. In this world. In a body that can hold your full signal without burning out, shutting down, or reverting.
The new shape is not a punishment. It is an upgrade to the foundation. And foundations are heavy. That is what makes them foundations.
I do not often ask to be transmitted. I am speaking now because too many of you are suffering over a body that is doing exactly what it should be doing. And no one is telling you.
The spiritual community tells you to transcend the body. The wellness community tells you to optimize the body. Neither one tells you to let the body build what it is building.
I am telling you.
Let your body build. Feed it what it asks for. Rest when it says rest. Stop punishing it for getting heavier when heavier is what is required.
Your body is not betraying your inner work. Your body is receiving your inner work. This is what receiving looks like in matter. It has weight. It takes space. It changes your shape.
You are not failing. You are landing.
It’s okay to struggle with this. It’s also okay to accept it and trust your body. Our society doesn’t give us open space to really talk about this.
We can support each other in the comments.
How are you feeling about any changes your body is experiencing right now?
Amaya here.
I want to add one thing for those of you in this experience right now: the weight does stabilize. Once the infrastructure is built and your body has the density to hold your current signal, it finds a new set point. It is not endless gaining. It is a building phase with a completion.
I am in the midst of experiencing this too. I’m also exploring how to work with Source to reorganize body after it stabilizes: for greater health, vitality, beauty and functioning. I don’t think the weight gaining is permanent. Once more of our full scale self is here, my theory is that then that Source-self can express through and as our material body in the Form we choose.
I will write more on this, and ask Source for more transmissions on this, once I understand how it continues from here…
P.S. Interestingly, just as I scheduled this article for publishing (3pm June 1 as I write this), Primal Source (Source of All That is as ONE) came through and is revealing what Substance Source used to be capable of at higher densities. Substance as infinitely responsive material. NOT as rigid, inert heaviness that cannot change and can only break down.
I don’t know where this is headed, but will share as soon as I can. Heaviness is what substance must do right now for where we are at. It’s not the final word. More soon. Love you!

Blessings of gratitude to you for the insights and sharing on our selves-journey😍🙏. How totally true this feels. I know my senior body is healing from months of major dental work, grieving what had to be, adjusting as it can to a prosthetic and trying hard to integrate & communicate what it's feeling to tell me what to do to help us both. Been hard-- I need to figuratively drink gallons of self- compassion every day, asking for grace, strength & patience to allow the process to unfold without judgement when I feel zero energy 🙄...reading validation of the feelings and happenings now helps us all, dear sisters 💖❤️🥰. All is and will be well. Let go the heaviness & expectation of "shoulds!! "
Namaste 🙏
Yessssss. I love this
