When I began professional psychic training 14 years ago, I truly had no idea what I was doing.
I felt like the worst one in my class. It took me six months to even be able to see color with my inner vision.
Most people think professional psychic training is about developing your psychic senses.
Wrong.
Itâs about cultivating certainty.
Your instructors donât pat you on the back. Volunteers arenât allowed to tell you if your impressions are correct or not.
Youâre just left in that void with yourself, wondering.
BUT thatâs also where the magic happens.
Your brain stops hoping for validation and starts seeking for more of your own information.
The day it all changed for meâŚ
I had a practice session with a close friend Iâll call John, who asked me to look at his energy with a woman in his life.
Back in those days I had to wait patiently for impressions to form.
Eventually, I began to see a shape.
A dark brown spot on a bed.
Weird.
But I stayed with it. Described it as I saw it.
âMaybe itâs a blob⌠no, a seed. It feels like a seed.â
Heâs totally silent as Iâm sharing my impressions. So I continue.
âNow itâs morphing⌠into⌠ummm⌠I think Iâm seeing a fetus? Now itâs growing into a baby.â
And suddenly, I knew:
âOhhhh. Did you get this woman pregnant?â
He sputtered and then scowled.
âNo oneâs supposed to know that.â He replied quietly. âYou werenât supposed to see that.â đŹ
But hereâs the real takeaway:
I didnât analyze. I didnât logic. I didnât get stuck in mentalizing and trying to interpret.
I just stayed with the image, focusing on describing it clearly, and let the impressions sharpen.
As they did, the clear knowing came with it.

The Typical âSpiritual Guidanceâ That Often Backfires
When clients come to me for psychic reading, they get excited about us possibly tuning in to spirit guides, angels, beings, or loved ones whoâve passed.
And Iâm totally here for it. Thatâs an essential part of the work.
But what I always recommend to those newly developing and exploring their own spiritual gifts and psychic powers is this:
If you try to outsource guidance before youâve learned to discern your own information...
You could:
Struggle to discern truth from falsehood
Interpret through filters of fear or desire â neutrality is considered key for psychic accuracy
Fall for answers that soothe the ego, yet lead you astray of the truth you sought
And yes â some beings lie.
Even âlightâ ones.
(There are beings of false light, or those who are good at mimicking).
Always follow your own knowing and sense of your capacity. However, I gently encourage anyone newly accessing spiritual guidance to focus on:
Receiving communication from your higher self, or your divinity
Listening to your physical intelligence
Learning to discern whatâs yours and whatâs not in your own field.
That becomes invaluable training that prepares you for safe interaction with beings that can gain access to you, your body and your field, if you open to them without full discernment and self-ownership (what many call protection).
Why Your Guidance May Feel Scrambled Right Now
If youâve been feeling like:
You used to be intuitive, but canât access it anymore
You used to trust your inner voice, but now itâs confusing or conflicting
You know somethingâs off, but every card pull, reading, or channeling leaves you foggierâŚ
You havenât lost your gifts. Youâre disoriented.
Because, somewhere along the way, your inner guidance system may have stopped orienting to YOU as its source.
Most people have been trained (subtly or overtly) to look out there for the answer:
â In the cosmic playgrounds of higher beings

Self As Source: The New Paradigm of Inner Guidance
Self As Source doesnât mean rejecting spiritual beings, guides, or cosmic wisdom.
It means you remain the filter. The home frequency. The deciding voice.
Itâs not about:
Never receiving channeled information
Never enjoying the transmissions or channeled messages of others
Never working with subtle realms
Itâs about making sure all of that gets filtered through your own inner truth.
This is how I eventually went from the slowest in my psychic training to a discernment so fierce, I specialize in crisis and near-death or terminal cases.
Itâs not because Iâm a better psychic. Iâm not.
Itâs because I focused most of my attention on developing my âspidey senseâ or what I often call my Truth Signal.
Itâs hard to explain, but thereâs a subtle frequency or note Iâve learned to notice and look for⌠I keep digging and digging the layers of any situation till I land on it.
Itâs a sense deep in my core that tells me, âTHIS. Youâve got it.â
Itâs quiet. But itâs resolute.
The Truth Signal Sharpens When You Center First
What most people donât realize is that consistently accurate spiritual guidance doesnât require better ability.
Itâs not about having more connection to higher dimensions, or being better at going into altered states.
Itâs actually about how you set up, and close out, any spiritual guidance session.
And yes â if you want accurate spiritual guidance, you want to sit down, focus, and conduct it like a proper session.
True, there are plenty of hacks for having big experiences, expansive downloads, and intense activations.
But thatâs not what weâre talking about here.
Weâre after consistency. Reliability.
What I want for you is to be able to get clarity + direction for making important decisions⌠to shape your path on your own terms â with calm certainty so you donât have to second guess yourself.
