My dear, precious child:
I’m so sorry no one told you how lovable you are when you think no one's looking.
When your room is messy, or your feelings are loud, or your best right now doesn't look like someone else’s.
I’m sorry no one told you that being sensitive isn’t a flaw.
That your anger isn't dangerous.
That your feelings are always allowed.
I'm sorry if you were ever told you're "too much."
Your muchness is exactly the medicine this world needs.
You were never meant to have to grow a thick skin, or to survive harsh circumstances, or to discover the angst — when those meant to keep you safe fail to do so.
You were meant to live in a softer world.
I’m sorry the adults around you were too caught up in their own stories, stresses and seeking for answers…
… to notice the wisdom that was already speaking through you.
That you were already asking the big questions.
And that those questions were the key.
That you were already cosmically attuned, with a spiritual sonar and soul-language that could have led them deeper into love and light if they'd just…
Sat with you more.
Played with you more.
Listened to you more.
I’m sorry no one taught you how to trust your body.
How to sense your own yes and no,
and to have permission to rest,
and also to take up space.
I’m sorry if it ever felt like you had to abandon your own needs
just to feel safe or accepted.
You didn’t do anything wrong.
The confusion, the disconnection, the guilt —
it was never yours to carry.
But you learned to carry it anyway.
Because you were kind.
And loyal.
And trying to make sense of a world that didn’t know yet, how to meet your magic.
Most of all, I’m sorry you didn’t get to hear this:
🕊️ You were never hard to love.
🕊️ You were never alone.
🕊️ You always belong. Right here.
🕊️ You deserved to have your hurts kissed and your body hugged. Every. Day.
🕊️ You have always been exceptional. I see you.
You were never bad and wrong.
You were never broken.
You were not impossible.
You were just waiting for someone to say:
“I see you. I believe you. I’m so glad you’re here.”
So I'm saying it right now.
I see you.
I believe you.
I'm so glad you're here.
I got you.
You are never not held.
With love,
Amaya
